Full Job Description About Us:
The Pita is a Mediterranean street food concept focused on fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and fast, friendly service. We take pride in quality food and a clean, efficient kitchen.
Position Overview:
We're looking for a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our team. You'll be responsible for preparing menu items, maintaining food quality standards, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly during busy service hours.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items (pitas, proteins, sides, sauces) Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas Follow food safety and sanitation standards Assist with prep work (cutting, marinating, stocking) Work efficiently during high-volume periods Communicate clearly with team members and management
Qualifications:
Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred (but willing to train the right person) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and attention to detail Reliable and punctual Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
