Duties Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes, dietary guidelines, and menu specifications Assist with menu planning to ensure balanced, appealing, and nutritious options are available daily Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Support catering events and special meal services with efficient food preparation and presentation Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health standards Collaborate with dietary aides and other team members to ensure smooth meal service delivery Demonstrate excellent knife skills and food preparation techniques to optimize efficiency and quality Qualifications Prior experience in dietary departments, food service, or restaurant kitchens is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling practices Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services Fine dining or culinary experience preferred; ability to prepare diverse dishes with attention to detail Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods Background in the food industry or kitchen experience demonstrating reliability and professionalism Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Join us as a Part-Time Cook and be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional meals that delight our community!
