Job Description
CordeValle is seeking a passionate and reliable Cook 1 to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who takes pride in preparing high-quality dishes and contributing to an exceptional dining experience across our restaurant outlets and banquet operations. The Cook 1 is responsible for preparing menu items according to established recipes and standards, supporting both restaurant outlets and banquet functions , and maintaining a clean and organized workstation to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items to specification and quality standards Assist with production for restaurant service and banquet events Follow standardized recipes and accurately execute orders from kitchen tickets Support prep work, station setup, and breakdown Ensure consistency, presentation, and proper portion control Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Collaborate with culinary team to execute high-volume and specialty events 2+ years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen preferred Experience in both a la carte and banquet production is a plus Valid Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain upon hire) Ability to read and follow standardized recipes, kitchen tickets and BEO's Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays If you are passionate about culinary excellence and enjoy being part of a dynamic team environment, we'd love to hear from you.
