Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Cook with at least 5 years of experience to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our Kitchen operations. This role is perfect for a passionate food industry professional with a strong background in kitchen management And a Mexican Restaurant. As the leader of our Kitchen team, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional food quality, safety standards, and service excellence. Your expertise will drive menu planning, food preparation, and staff supervision to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the dietary department, ensuring compliance with all food safety and handling regulations Oversee menu planning to deliver diverse, nutritious, and appealing meal options tailored to guest needs Manage food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Train and mentor dietary aides and kitchen staff in food service techniques, knife skills, meal preparation, and culinary best practices Coordinate catering events and fine dining experiences, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food storage to minimize waste and control costs Uphold strict sanitation standards through regular inspections and adherence to health regulations Qualifications Proven experience in dietary departments or food service environments with a focus on meal preparation and food handling Strong background in culinary arts, including menu planning, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Prior experience in fine dining or Mexican Restaurant restaurant settings is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods Leadership experience supervising dietary aides or kitchen staff Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Lead Cook to inspire culinary excellence while fostering a positive environment that values innovation, teamwork, and exceptional service.
