hawaiian BBQ Santa Maria, CA Job Details Part-time $18 - $22 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Grilling Asian cuisine Teamwork Kitchen stations Food Handler Certification Full Job Description D&A Hawaiian BBQ is hiring a part-time Cook to prepare authentic, high-quality Hawaiian-style plate lunches in a fast-paced kitchen. You'll cook to recipe, keep the line moving, and help deliver the bold flavors our guests love. Duties Prepare and cook menu items (BBQ meats, chicken katsu, rice, sides) to established recipes Grill, fry, and assemble plate lunches quickly and consistently Follow all food safety and hygiene standards Keep prep stations stocked, clean, and organized Manage portion control and minimize waste Support team during peak rushes Qualifications Prior cook/line experience preferred (Hawaiian or Asian cuisine a plus) Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long shifts Knowledge of food safety practices (Food Handler card a plus) Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn our recipes
