Line Cook at Sierra Pines Resort Are you passionate about food and looking to gain valuable kitchen experience? Our beautiful report is looking to add more awesome team members for our busy summer season. If you are looking for a fun and fast-paced place to work, please review the information below.     Position:
    Line Cook
      Duration:
      May through October (must commit to entire season with flexibility to work mornings, nights and weekends)
        Schedule:
        5 Days/Week for entire season including weekends

        We offer a dynamic and supportive environment where you can develop your culinary skills under a professionally trained holistic chef. Previous kitchen experience is a requirement, but we are willing to provide additional training for the right candidate. Additionally, we might be able to assist with housing for those who are a perfect fit for our team. Salary is dependent on experience. Our resort is ideally situated for those who wish to "get away from it all" and experience the great outdoors on your days off. Sierra City is a very remote location with Truckee, Portola or Reno being the closest cities (1-2 hrs. drive)
        Qualifications:
        • Display a positive can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
        • Be well groomed and well presented
        • Be able to work independently but not afraid to ask for help when needed comfortably and calmly under pressure
        • Be a team player with great communication as you will interact with colleagues & superiors
        • Have previous successful and relatable experience (Knife skills, sauces, breakfast)
