About Us 6 Cocktails is an International fusion kitchen and craft cocktail bar in the heart of Downtown Tracy. We're building something special here — a full-service, family-friendly restaurant known for bold flavors, thoughtful cocktails, and a team that genuinely cares about the experience. We're expanding into lunch and brunch service and looking for a Lead Cook who wants to help shape what that looks like from the ground up. The Role As our Lunch/Brunch Lead Cook, you'll be the anchor of our daytime kitchen — executing service, guiding a small BOH team, and bringing creative input to a menu that reflects the diversity and energy of Tracy. This is a hands-on lead role, not a desk job. You'll be cooking alongside your team every shift while also owning the flow, the prep plan, and the standards. We're looking for someone with real experience developing brunch and lunch menus for a global or fusion concept — someone who understands how to build dishes that appeal broadly across demographics while keeping the food exciting and intentional. What You'll Do Execute lunch and brunch service at a high level of quality and consistency Lead and guide a prep cook and line cook during service Collaborate on menu development — bring ideas, test dishes, and help finalize recipes and plating Own daily prep planning and mise en place; keep the kitchen organized and ready Maintain food safety, cleanliness, labeling, and storage standards at all times Communicate proactively with management and FOH to support smooth service flow Help onboard and train new BOH team members as the program grows What We're Looking For 3+ years of professional kitchen experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior cook role Demonstrated experience developing or contributing to brunch/lunch menus — global fusion or multicultural cuisines a strong plus Comfort cooking for diverse guest demographics in a neighborhood restaurant setting Strong knife skills, station organization, and ability to maintain quality under volume Calm, reliable, and team-oriented — you set the tone, and it shows California Food Handler Certification (required before first shift) Interest in growing with a restaurant that's actively building something Schedule & Details Saturday & Sunday (lunch/brunch shifts) — 16 hrs/week to start Additional weekday shifts possible as lunch service expands — 20+ hrs/week Part-time with advancement opportunity as program grows Staff meal discounts • Supportive, low-ego kitchen culture • No late nights
