Per-diem/Varied Shift Position Summary:

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services the Grill Cook is responsible for completing all assigned duties in a safe, timely and sanitary manner. Assignment include but are not limited to preparing food, maintaining an organized clean work environment and following all food procurement policies and procedures.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to communicate, read and write English. Requires basic mathematical skills.

Experience:

Hospital Experience in an Acute Care or Long Term Care facility, Restaurant or Commercial Food Service experience preferred. Licenses and/or

Certifications:

Food Handler Certificate Required within 90-Days.
