Full Job Description Overview:
The Café is the cafeteria located in a college in Whittier, CA. We are excited to provide freshly made food for the students, faculty and visitors. Our management team has over 100 years of combined industry experience in corporate food service and we pride ourselves in providing best food experience and employees' career enhancement. We are closed on weekends and key national holidays, allowing flexible lifestyle of staff members.Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation
