Previous wok experience is preferred, but we are willing to train a strong line cook who learns quickly and is interested in Thai wok cooking. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows recipes consistently and works well as part of a team.

Pay:

$19-$21 per hour, depending on experience, plus eligible tips

Prepare Thai noodles, fried rice and stir-fried dishes Learn and follow KRAPOW's recipes, portions and presentation standards Work quickly and accurately during busy service Prepare and restock ingredients as needed Maintain a clean, safe and organized workstation Communicate with the kitchen, cashier and management Assist other team members when needed Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures Qualifications Previous restaurant cooking experience required Wok or high-volume sauté experience preferred Willing to learn KRAPOW's wok techniques and recipes Able to understand and communicate in English sufficiently to read tickets, follow instructions and work safely with the team Dependable, punctual and able to work well with others Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and around high heat Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Evening and weekend availability required California Food Handler Card required Qualified applicants may be invited to complete a paid working interview.
