Line CookMorgan's On Main | Woodland, CAAbout UsMorgan's On Main is an upscale steakhouse focused on delivering exceptional food, outstanding service, and memorable dining experiences. We take pride in using quality ingredients, maintaining high culinary standards, and creating a positive, team-oriented work environment.

We're looking for a dependable, motivated Line Cook who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in preparing consistently excellent food.

Position SummaryAs a Line Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to our recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. The ideal candidate works well under pressure, communicates effectively with the kitchen team, and is passionate about great food.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items to company recipes and quality standards.

Set up and stock assigned station before each shift.

Ensure all food is cooked accurately, consistently, and presented properly.

Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.

Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.

Communicate with chefs and teammates to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries, and inventory as needed.

Properly label, date, rotate, and store food using FIFO methods.

Help maintain a positive, professional, and team-focused kitchen environment.

QualificationsPrevious restaurant or line cook experience preferred (steakhouse experience is a plus).Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one upon hire).Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
