Job Description

The Beulah Inn is searching for a skilled line cook to join our team for 3-5 shifts per week (5 during peak-season, 3/on-call during off-season, though extra work such as catering and events are available). We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We serve homestyle comfort food made from scratch to our small community, but also bring in a large amount of tourism from the surrounding areas. Ownership works side-by-side with the staff and is committed to a kind, drama-free, positive workplace. We are a small, close-knit crew that like to have fun while still taking our jobs seriously.

This position requires you to perform all aspects of cooking on the line including saute, grill, fryer and prep projects. Close attention to detail is necessary. While we do serve bar food and burgers, we also serve entrees that require you to build pan sauces to order, cook steaks to temp and season appropriately by tasting and learning how to build flavor.

A good attitude, ability to take constructive criticism and willingness to learn is essential. Reliable transportation is necessary. A gas stipend is available depending on where you are coming in from.

Pay begins at $18+tips with an automatic increase to $19 after 3 months of proven ability and professionalism. Tips average $100-250 per pay period (2 weeks) depending on hours worked.
