Bring your culinary skills to an assisted living kitchen where food is part of daily care. As a Cook for Assisted Living, you'll prepare nourishing meals tailored to the needs of older adults, supporting comfort, dignity, and well-being in a calm, resident-centered environment.
Schedule:
Saturdays 6 am- 2:30 pm and Sunday-Monday 11 am-7:30 pm. What You Will Do At Frasier, your work is meaningful and deeply valued by both your team and the residents you serve. Prepare and cook meals using standardized recipes to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency Serve meals at appropriate temperatures with attention to portion control and presentation Prepare meals that meet special dietary needs, modified textures, and allergen requirements Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards Properly use, clean, and store kitchen equipment and supplies Work collaboratively with dining team members to support smooth meal service Contribute to a respectful, professional kitchen culture that prioritizes resident comfort and dignityWhat You Will Earn Pay Range:
$20.40-$24.25 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Applications are reviewed as received and accepted until the position is filled. Minimum of one year of professional cooking experience, preferably in assisted living, healthcare, senior living, or hospitality Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices Experience following standardized recipes, menus, and production schedules Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented kitchen High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow recipes, safety guidelines, and communicate effectively You Will be aGreat Fit:
