The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves preparing and cooking menu items to high standards, ensuring food safety, and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Prior experience in fine dining, catering, or the food industry is highly valued, along with a strong understanding of food handling and meal presentation. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in menu planning and daily food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and presentation Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation Support other kitchen staff during busy service periods, including plating and garnishing dishes Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment Contribute to maintaining an efficient workflow during service hours Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a dietary aide or dietary department worker Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Experience in restaurant or culinary settings, especially fine dining or catering environments Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required Prior experience with menu planning, food service, or culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic culinary environment while honing your skills in food preparation and service excellence.
