MONTEZUMA CORTEZ SCHOOL DISTRICT RE-1
Part Time Cook - MCHS
REPORTS TO
Kitchen Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the preparation and serving of school meals. Specific preparation tasks may be limited to certain areas, such as salad, main dishes or baked goods. Responsible for general cleanup of kitchens. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares meals or various dishes (salads, breads, desserts, main dishes, etc.) for service in school cafeterias. Performs various tasks associated with the serving of meals and other food services. Assists with the general cleanup of the kitchen and related areas. May have responsibility for some laundry. May have responsibility for some delivery of meals to other schools. May assist with inventory and record keeping. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

ESSENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Mostly clean and comfortable, some noise, some odors and fumes, some temperature extremes. All buildings/grounds in District Re-1 are tobacco free.
