We love serving the best BBQ in Denver and we want to find a kitchen focused person who wants to work hard and have fun doing it. We need someone who is motivated, dependable, knows their way around a kitchen and never minds to help out wherever they are needed. Want to join our small team? Love to work together as a team? We believe in promoting from within so a person who wants to push themselves can be greatly rewarded here. We are looking for someone who enjoys being fast-paced, is a strong line cook, someone who likes to be self motivated and keep busy and someone who wants to grow and learn all of the stations on the line, including the block where all our meats are cut. This position will be kitchen focused but we are a full counter service restaurant so doing the dish pit as well as learning the register is a requirement. Having at least 3 years of kitchen experience is required. If you like to move fast and work hard we are the place for you! Ideal candidate is team orientated, has a positive attitude, a hands on approach to hospitality & is open to helping every position in the restaurant.

About Us:

Executive Chef Bill Espiricueta, previously with Acorn and Oak in Boulder, has lived in the barbecue hot spots of America and has brought his smoking expertise to Denver. Smok is open for lunch & dinner with rotating daily specials. With a fast casual counter service approach, Smok has a relaxed and welcoming demeanor for families and friends. We have elevated the Denver barbecue scene with our craft cocktail program and modern décor since our opening in August 2018. We recently received recognition from The Michelin Restaurant Guide as one of only 44 restaurants in Colorado that made it in the guide. Smok is located in the expansion of The Source, a market hall built in 2013 that occupies a former 1880's brick foundry building. The collective of artisans and retailers offer visitors a little taste of what RiNo has to offer.
