Duties & Responsibilities:
What the Candidate Needs to be Good at: Passion for cooking and Southern cuisine and BBQ Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment Physical endurance, including the ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays What the
Candidate Will Do:
Prepare food items according to recipes and standards Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items Maintain a clean and organized kitchen Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and management Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service Perform other duties as assigned by management What we offer: Fun atmosphere, great people, and fantastic food. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent A minimum of 1 year of experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures Must be able to work well in a team environment with strong communication skills Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
