Your ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen staff while maintaining a focus on food safety and presentation will be essential. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and restaurant standards, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, fryers, and ovens. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines. Assist in inventory management by monitoring food supplies and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal dishes or specials. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining environment is preferred. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on meal preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Experience working in a team-oriented environment with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with dietary department requirements is a plus.
