POSITION SUMMARY

Under direct supervision, this position consists of preparing food for patients, hospital and medical staff, and maintaining the Food Services Department in a sanitary manner . Other duties include but are not limited to: Prepares food for patients, cafeteria and medical staff. Maintains safe and sanitary conditions of work area. Performs related duties as assigned. Collaborates with hospital personnel and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care. Promotes a positive working environment and guest relations. Promotes safety by attending mandatory in services and complies with all safety measures initiated by the facility.

Experience:

A High School education or equivalent is preferred. Experience as a cook or cook's helper required; experience in an institutional food service facility is preferred.
