We pride ourselves on delivering an elevated dining experience that reflects both the character of our hotel and the expectations of our guests.
Position Summary:
As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in executing thoughtfully prepared dishes with consistency, precision, and attention to detail. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about culinary excellence and thrives in a fast-paced, fine dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute menu items to fine dining standards, ensuring quality and consistency Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of your assigned station Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Assist with daily prep work including knife work, portioning, and ingredient preparation Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of all food products (FIFO) Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and timely service Uphold presentation standards that align with the Cliff House dining experience Assist with inventory control and notify leadership of product needs
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant preferred Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and plating standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and team-first mindset
