Job Description
Global Partners LP is seeking a Line Cook to support our convenience store and retail fuel locations. In this role, you will prepare and cook menu items to spec, ensuring speed, quality, and food safety for customers on the go. You will set up and break down stations, follow strict sanitation and safety procedures, manage ticket flow, and maintain accurate portions to control waste. Working in a fast-paced, safety-focused energy retail environment, you will collaborate closely with teammates, support consistent customer service, and help keep our locations running efficiently and compliantly. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and portion standards Set up, stock, and break down cooking and prep stations Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Manage order and ticket flow to ensure on-time, accurate food delivery Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing food and supplies Minimize food waste through proper prep, storage, and portioning Communicate clearly with teammates and store staff during busy periods Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in compliance with regulations Required Skills Grill and sauté station operation Food preparation and knife skills Food safety and sanitation Recipe and portion control Kitchen equipment operation Order accuracy and ticket management Time management in high-volume service Inventory and waste control Basic POS and kitchen display systems familiarity Team communication in kitchen
