In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a busy kitchen setting, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food, skilled in kitchen operations, and eager to contribute to a dynamic food service environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while working alongside experienced professionals. Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage. Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours. Follow food safety protocols to ensure all dishes are prepared in a hygienic manner. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent food quality. Qualifications Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, catering, or dietary department is preferred. Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques. Experience with menu planning and meal preparation is a plus. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Willingness to learn new culinary techniques and support kitchen operations as needed.
