As a key player in our morning operations, you'll be responsible for preparing delicious baked items, assisting with food production, and ensuring our workspace stays clean and organized. Duties Prepare baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and other treats following established recipes and quality standards. Assist in food preparation tasks including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for breakfast dishes and baked items. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and food processors. Decorate cakes and pastries with creative designs to enhance presentation and appeal. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety standards, including proper sanitation, storage, and handling of ingredients. Package baked goods for retail or catering purposes while ensuring accuracy and presentation quality. Support high-volume production needs during busy mornings or special events while adhering to recipe guidelines. Requirements Previous experience in baking or food production is highly desirable, especially with baked goods and pastry preparation. Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling practices to ensure safety and quality. Knowledge of food safety management protocols and adherence to health regulations. Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in product quality. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing portion sizes effectively. Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, scales, and other culinary tools. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members in a busy environment.
