This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation at all times Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner during service Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures Assist with prep work including chopping vegetables, butchering meats, and preparing sauces Monitor food quality and report any issues to kitchen leadership Maintain proper food storage and labeling according to health regulations Assist with inventory control and notify management of shortages Work collaboratively with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff Assist with opening and closing duties Qualifications Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Food safety certification preferred (ServSafe or equivalent) Skills & Competencies Team player with strong communication skills Strong work ethic and reliability Time management and multitasking abilities Passion for food and hospitality Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately Physical Requirements Standing for long periods Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching Working in hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
