Job Description
SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a Cook with at least 2 years experience to join our collaborative team at a private school in Kent, CT. We create exceptional dining experiences at every meal every time. We create meals from scratch as much as possible, and really are passionate about what we do. Our ideal candidate has a corporate/production dining background and some supervisory experience. We prepare meals across culinary trends, cuisines, and techniques, so we seek culinarians passionate about continuing their learning on the job. As all of our cooking is from scratch, candidates must demonstrate excellent knife skills and solid kitchen safety etiquette. Successful final candidates for the position may be required to fulfill location specific health and safety requirements. Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience required Work in a team that creates exceptional dining experiences at every meal, every time Prepare high-quality, from-scratch meals using fresh ingredients Bring experience from a corporate or high-volume production dining environment Utilize and demonstrate strong knife skills and advanced prep techniques Follow and model excellent kitchen safety and sanitation standards Prepare diverse menus spanning multiple cuisines, culinary trends, and techniques Ideal candidate is passionate about food, teamwork, and continuing to grow and learn in their craft Be part of a company culture that values culinary creativity, collaboration, and excellence

Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing. Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members. Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP). What you'll need: Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen. Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English. Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.Job Type:
