Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist with menu planning to ensure variety and quality in daily offerings Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Support food preparation activities, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and smooth kitchen operations Assist with catering events or special functions as needed to deliver memorable dining experiences Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting Strong food preparation and cooking skills, including proficiency with knife techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
