SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a reliable and high energy line cook for our retail snack shop location at a private school in Wallingford, CT. This position works relatively independently in a student center snack bar that is open afternoons and evenings most of the year. This is retail operations position with experience with a flat-top grill and fryer. Preparing grab-no go, Burgers, Tenders, sandwiches and more. Typical schedule are afternoons & evenings. Anywhere from 1:00pm•11:00 pm. We can discuss your availability and potential schedule in an interview! What you'll do: Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests' expectations. Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing. Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members. Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP). What you'll need: Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen. Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English. Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
