Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and mixers Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment operation Support the culinary team in meal preparation for service periods and catering events Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders Experience Previous experience in a food service environment, including restaurant or catering settings Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Demonstrated skills in food handling, cooking techniques, and operating various kitchen equipment Experience working with dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams Culinary experience that highlights knife skills, slicing techniques, and food industry knowledge Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
