Responsible for cooking food to order, managing multiple tickets simultaneously on a grill or fryer, maintaining station sanitation, and plating dishes for immediate service.
MUST HAVE CLEAN, NEAT APPEARANCE. OPEN KITCHEN WITH CUSTOMER INTERFACE.
Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking:
Grill, fry, and prepare a variety of foods, such as eggs, pancakes, burgers, and sandwiches, ensuring quality and speed.
Multitasking & Timing:
Manage multiple orders at once, coordinating cooking times so all items for a table are finished together.
Sanitation & Safety:
Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils. Maintain food safety standards, including temperature checks and proper food rotation (FIFO).
Inventory Management:
Restock kitchen supplies, monitor inventory levels, and notify managers of shortages.
Customer Interaction:
Direct customer interface while food is served at a counter.
Required Skills and Qualifications Efficiency & Speed:
Ability to work quickly in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Experience:
Previous experience ( 1-2 years) as a cook or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with kitchen equipment, including grills, flat-top griddles, fryers, and knives.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
Communication:
Good verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is commonly required.
