The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong understanding of food safety practices. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food items, ensuring that all meals meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and menu specifications
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitor food quality during cooking to ensure consistency and taste
  • Collaborate with the team to coordinate meal preparation and timing for the daily menu, specials, and events
  • Assist in the training of new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food handling practices
  • Keep the kitchen and its equipment clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
  • Adhere to dietary department guidelines when preparing meals for special diets. Requirements
  • Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary field
  • Familiarity with various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and frying
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using kitchen equipment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
