The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently, providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and dicing using proper knife techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements. Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality food presentation. Uphold fine dining standards by ensuring all dishes are plated beautifully. Qualifications Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably in a restaurant or fine dining setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Experience as a dietary aide is a plus but not required. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and helping others through food.
