Full-Time / Part-Time Position Overview TownePlace Suites Daytona Beach Oceanfront is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to standard recipes, maintaining food safety, and helping deliver an excellent dining experience for our oceanfront guests. Key Responsibilities Set up and stock prep and line stations with all necessary supplies, ingredients, and utensils prior to service. Cook food items accurately, efficiently, and consistently according to hotel recipes and presentation standards. Operate standard kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, ovens, and flat-tops. Maintain strict sanitation and food safety practices in compliance with local health codes and Marriott brand standards. Monitor prep levels, label/date stored items correctly, and assist with inventory management to minimize food waste. Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, line equipment, and prep areas throughout and at the end of every shift. Work closely with kitchen staff and front-of-house servers to ensure orders are completed accurately and promptly.Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook preferred (hotel or resort experience is a plus).Certifications:
Food Handler certification required (or willing to obtain upon hire).Skills:
Solid culinary foundation, knife skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and strong team communication.Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods, work near hot equipment, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Benefits:
