The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The Line Cook/Prep Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality service Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or culinary setting Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services is advantageous Demonstrated knife skills and knowledge of food safety regulations are essential Experience in the food industry or culinary arts is highly valued Join our team and contribute your culinary expertise to create memorable dining experiences for our guests!
