Line Cook

Chica's Cuban Cafe is seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a line cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to our quality and presentation standards while keeping pace in a high-energy kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about food, teamwork, and delivering a great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and portion standards Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before each shift Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of your station Assist with prep work and inventory management as needed Ensure food quality, freshness, and consistency at all times Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy shifts Follow all food safety and kitchen safety guidelines

Qualifications:

Prior cooking or kitchen experience highly preferred Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
