Overview Story & Song Crew members create a special, comfortable place for customers and one another. Amelia Island's most unique dining venue is a central part to enjoying a visit to the Story & Song Center for Arts & Culture. Customers browse a well-curated selection of books, cards, gifts and art and savor delicious house-made food and beverages. We are looking for Crew members who can work weekends on a team to prep for brunch, lunch and catered events. A love of food and people is a must. Will train the right person. Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen facilities. Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Assist with bussing tables and cleaning up after customers to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements Previous experience in food service is preferred. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
