The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to our established recipes and standards, ensuring that every dish meets our quality expectations. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of any shortages. Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests. Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Skills Proven experience in the culinary field, preferably with fine dining or restaurant experience. Strong food preparation skills, including knife skills and meal preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus. Ability to plan menus that cater to various dietary needs and preferences. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with catering services is advantageous. A passion for cooking and a desire to continuously improve culinary skills.Job Types:
