Full-Time Position Description Do you love preparing nutritious meals that make a real difference in people's day? We're looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team and ensure individuals served and staff enjoy safe, healthy, and delicious meals every day. In this role, you'll work in the site kitchen , follow menus, maintain food safety, and keep the kitchen clean and organized. Your work is essential to the wellbeing of everyone at the site. What You'll Do Follow established menus and prepare meals according to proper recipes and dietary requirements Clean kitchen equipment and maintain a sanitary work environment throughout the shift Monitor and report any equipment repair needs to the Food Service Manager/Director Ensure food safety by preventing cross-contamination, maintaining proper temperatures, and adhering to sanitation standards Stock and rotate supplies, ensuring all ingredients are available for daily menu requirements Complete production records, temperature logs, and account for all food prepared each shift Comply with Health Department standards and infection control policies regarding personal hygiene and illness Education High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience One (1) year of cooking experience (required) Licenses/Certifications Must obtain ServSafe Certification within three (3) months of employment (required) Why Join Us As a Cook, you'll play a critical role in supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals served and staff at the site.
