Full-Time / Part-Time Job Summary Alder & Oak is seeking experienced Line Cooks to execute our Mediterranean-inspired menu. This role focuses on high-quality ingredients and wood-fired cooking techniques. We are looking for disciplined cooks who take pride in plate presentation, kitchen cleanliness, and consistency in a high-volume, scratch kitchen.Key Duties Station Management:
Set up and break down stations (Grill, Sauté, Pizza/Oven, or Prep) according to restaurant standards.Cooking:
Execute menu items to order with a focus on wood-fired techniques and Mediterranean flavors.Quality Control:
Ensure all food leaving the kitchen meets our standards for taste, temperature, and presentation.Food Safety:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace; follow all food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.Efficiency:
Work with a sense of urgency to maintain fast ticket times during busy lunch and dinner shifts.Requirements Experience:
2+ years of line cook experience in a high-volume or upscale environment. Experience with wood-fired ovens is a plus.Technical Skills:
Strong knife skills and a solid understanding of various cooking methods and temperatures.Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a high-heat kitchen environment.Teamwork:
Ability to remain calm under pressure and communicate effectively with the Chef and kitchen team.Availability:
