Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques specific to pizza and Italian cuisine. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean workspace. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and cutting tools, with care and precision. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new pizza offerings or specials. Experience Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or fine dining establishment is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Proficient in using knives and other kitchen tools safely and effectively. Experience in catering or working within a dietary department is a plus but not required. A passion for creating high-quality dishes and providing excellent customer service is essential for success in this role.
