Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our dynamic team in the food industry. This role is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining, culinary arts, and food handling, with a commitment to providing exceptional service to our Students.

Duties:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation, meal planning, and inventory management
• Provide support to other kitchen staff, including help with food presentation and plating
• Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes meet our high standards
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen management to develop new recipes and menu items
• Keep up-to-date with trends in the food industry and culinary arts
• Participate in catering events and provide exceptional service to clients

Experience:

• Previous experience in a kitchen, preferably in a fine dining or catering setting
• Proven track record of preparing and serving high-quality meals
• Strong knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Familiarity with food industry standards and regulations
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods
