In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, appealing meals that support the health and development of young children. Your culinary expertise will ensure that all food served meets safety standards, dietary needs, and quality expectations. Responsibilities Plan and prepare balanced, kid-friendly menus in accordance with dietary guidelines and nutritional standards Execute food preparation tasks and food production to create diverse meal options Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all tools are maintained and sanitized regularly Follow strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Handle food handling responsibilities with precision, adhering to recipe adherence and portion control standards Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment by following proper food safety management practices and cleaning protocols Qualifications Previous dietary aide experience or food service experience in a high-volume setting preferred Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques including poaching, braising, grilling, and knife skills Experience with food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organizational skills with a focus on recipe adherence and meal preparation standards Join our team to make a meaningful impact on young children's health through delicious, nutritious meals!
