Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient needs Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times Support food handling procedures, including proper storage, labeling, and inventory management of ingredients Collaborate with team members during service to ensure timely delivery of orders and exceptional customer satisfaction Participate in catering events or special meal preparations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and culinary versatility Requirements Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably with dietary department or dietary aide experience Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation methods Experience with meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation Familiarity with menu planning, food industry practices, and catering services is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills will flourish!
