  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting with food assembly, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and safety. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and kitchen operations will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills, contribute to menu execution, and work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and efficiency are key. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipe specifications Assist in assembling dishes and plating food items for service Follow food safety protocols to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination Support the kitchen team with basic cooking tasks as needed, including heating, mixing, and portioning Maintain organized workstations and ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and rotating stock appropriately Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth kitchen operations Experience Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is preferred Background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is highly desirable Familiarity with menu planning, food handling, and kitchen safety standards is a plus Hands-on experience in food industry settings such as catering or food service environments is advantageous Strong knife skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are beneficial Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices Join us as a Prep Cook and become an essential part of delivering delicious, safe, and beautifully presented meals.
