GED Full Job Description Summary:
The Line Cook (Harry's) will prepare food to the chef's specifications and set up stations for our diverse menu. They will work with other associates in the kitchen to execute signature dishes and recipes, assisting the chef and kitchen staff with their daily tasks. They must be organized, self-motivated, maintain a safe and sanitary food inventory and environment and have problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation to meet the restaurant's standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Assisting in managing kitchen inventory, including tracking stock levels, restocking ingredients, and minimizing waste. Contribute creative ideas to enhance our menu and overall dining experience. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality control standards. Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as required. Execute all ticket orders in a quality and timely manner according to menu specifications. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate production of all orders. All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
7+ months of relevant experience. Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. infrequently. Must be able to legally work in the USA. Education and Certification(s)/License(s): High school diploma or equivalent required.
