Job Description
Responsibilities
- Preparation of all deli foods, excluding bakery items
- Ensure work station and kitchen cleanliness
- Ensure proper use of all kitchen equipment
- Put away orders as needed
- Follow safe food handling guidelines
- Work with Shift Coordinator to assist in the daily workflow
- Participate in departmental and storewide meetings and trainings
- Other tasks as assigned by Kitchen Manager/Shift Coordinator Job Qualifications
- Self-motivated, organized, responsible, flexible
- Quick, efficient cooking skills
- Professional cooking experience
- Able to work well in a team to achieve departmental goals
- Interested in cooking and natural foods
- English proficiency
- Food Handling Certification General Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands
- Organized, attention to detail.
- Familiarity with natural and organic foods
- Self-motivated, organized, responsible, flexible
- Regular, predictable attendance with ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
- Ability to project friendly, outgoing personality
- Written and spoken English proficiency
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
