Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of foods according to the standardized recipes, and production methods.
• Ensures high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service and storage and daily quality control checks.
• Works multiple production stations and conducts quality control checks on taste, temperature and presentation on patient, cafeteria, and catering foods.
• Trains and orients selected staff on food production along with safety and sanitation practices.
• Leads production in absence of Executive Chef according to facility.
• Performs other duties as necessary. Experience

• Required:

  4 years as a Cook / 2 years with high school Diploma or Culinary Diploma

• Preferred:

  2 years in Healthcare Education

• Required:

  High School Diploma or Equivalent Certification

Required:

ServSafe Manager food safety certification within 1 year of hire.
