Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Prep/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble components for various menu items with precision and efficiency Cook dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards, maintaining consistency across all plates Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to safety guidelines Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the health and well-being of customers and staff Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours Skills Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety standards Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation for various cuisines Familiarity with restaurant or food industry environments, including kitchen experience and food service operations Ability to plan menus, estimate ingredient quantities, and execute dishes efficiently under time constraints Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards Experience in catering, serving, or large-scale food production is a plus Join us if you're eager to bring your culinary talents to life in a lively environment where your skills make a difference!
