Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft, works well in a fast-paced kitchen, and understands the importance of consistency, timing, and attention to detail. As a Line Cook at Michael's, you will play an important role in preparing and executing dishes to our high standards throughout service.

What You'll Do:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and Chef's standards Work efficiently across assigned stations while maintaining proper timing and communication Ensure food is cooked to the proper temperature and presented with consistency and attention to detail Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station throughout service Complete daily prep and ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and ready for service Communicate effectively with the Chef and kitchen team during busy service periods Monitor food quality, freshness, and consistency throughout the shift Assist with opening and closing duties, including station breakdown and cleaning Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures Support fellow team members as needed to ensure smooth and efficient service

What We're Looking For:

Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience preferred Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and food safety Ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency Good communication and teamwork skills Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn A positive attitude and pride in the quality of your work Ability to take direction and work closely with the Chef and culinary team
