With 41 locations across many states and growing, Flying Biscuit Cafe offers a unique dining experience for customers. We're 42nd Flying Biscuit location Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our biscuit team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in casual dining and catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Line Cooks are expected to be able to comfortably operate the following stations: Expo (Quarterback) Sandwich & Fryer Eggs Station Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle food products safely and responsibly, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques. Support other kitchen staff as required, including dietary aides and servers, to ensure smooth operations. Scheduling & Performance Hours are assigned based on performance, reliability, teamwork, and adherence to kitchen standards. Repeated policy violations may result in write-ups, reduced hours, or termination. Skills Proven experience in made from scratch setting, and catering settings. Strong food preparation skills with attention to detail in presentation. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work with minimum supervision Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
