Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, stoves, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety standards in production and handling Assist with food prep tasks such as slicing, dicing, portioning, and plating to ensure timely meal service Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety compliance Support the culinary team in meal preparation for daily service and catering events Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and uphold high-quality food presentation standards Qualifications Previous experience in a food service environment, including restaurant or catering experience preferred Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Familiarity with food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to menu planning guidelines Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen team members Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while contributing to a vibrant team.
